I watched West Side Story for the first time. I'm not really a person who likes Musicals (excluding Chicago). I haven't seen many to base this on, but normally I find their unrealistic and cliché-ridden storylines irritating. West Side Story wasn't an exception (I skipped through a couple of the classic songs, many musical theatre lovers would hate me for it). However, I liked the dancing, the Sharks and the New York streets backdrop. I would still prefer to watch Romeo and Juliet though.
On a different subject, I realise this is unintentionally becoming a 'movies I have seen' blog. Probably a little boring for anyone looking at it but, sorry, I don't blog for you. I'm not even sure people read this, I feel like I might be the character who got lost and is standing in a desert talking to absolutely no one. If you're in the desert too though, hi.
