My talk is cheap

I watched Apocalypse Now for the first time (Redux version). I feel like I should make some big comment because of it being such an iconic film, but honestly I must admit that it didn't wow me in any way, although I did enjoy watching it - largely because of the impressive cinematography. It was interesting to find out that some of my favourite scenes had not been included in the original version. The parts I liked best were when you got to see a different, less serious side of the soldiers, such as the scenes with the Playboy bunnies, and the clip above. When that guitar riff began, I had that feeling of yes, this will be good. One of my favourite Rolling Stones songs, the combination of it and the sun-drenched visuals of the water-skier behind the boat made it a perfect scene.
